Team Joslin is a group of generous and dedicated individuals from all over the world who participate in athletic events to raise funds for Joslin Diabetes Center. Team Joslin participants embody two essential elements in the fight against diabetes, both the spirit of giving and maintaining an active lifestyle.

The funds raised through these events contribute to Joslin’s capacity to prevent, treat and cure diabetes through cutting-edge research, comprehensive patient care and pioneering education programs.

2020 Boston Marathon - April 20, 2020

Joslin Diabetes Center is proud to be an official partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program. When you run with Team Joslin, you'll receive fundraising tips, team gear and more! Training support is provided by Dan Fitzgerald of Heartbreak Hill Running Company.

Race Options and Fundraising Minimums

  • Team Joslin - $10,000 (I need an entry from Joslin Diabetes Center)
  • Team Joslin Supporter - $1,000 (I have secured my own entry but wish to fundraise with Team Joslin)

Bank of America Chicago Marathon - October 13, 2019

  • FULL: Team Joslin - $1,750 (I need an entry from Joslin Diabetes Center)
  • Team Joslin Supporter - $500 (I have secured my own entry into the Bank of America Chicago Marathon but wish to fundraise with Team Joslin)

TCS New York City Marathon - November 3, 2019

Tour de South Shore - September 21, 2019

Do you love to cycle? Consider joining Team Wheelie Cool in the McCourt Foundation’s Tour de South Shore! The McCourt Foundation’s 2019 Tour de South Shore Athletic Festival now offers a 25 and 50 mile bike, a 5k walk and a 5k fun run! 80% of the money raised by the team will be donated to Joslin Diabetes Center.
